5 Tips to Becoming a Better Learning Coach

It’s easy to get busy, overloaded, and stressed out! Sometimes putting yourself first is the best way to relax, put things in perspective, get some much needed energy and be a better learning coach (or even person).

  1. Make a list of things that you would do for yourself if you had a moment to yourself.
  2. Gather the phone numbers of people that you can call to help you watch the kids and give yourself a break.
  3. Team up with another learning coach in your area that you can swap break time with or just find another person in the area that you can swap favors with.
  4. There are other ways that you can find 5 minute breaks during the day to give yourself a breather when things seem to get a little tense.
  5. Sometimes the kids need a break too. This can mean a 20 minute room break where they just have some quiet time as well.

I'd love to hear your ideas! These don't have to be things you've tried yourself, maybe they're ideas that are lurking in the back of your mind.
